Description of dynamic features on the Moving To The Future site
Most of the Moving To The Future site, including all articles on the splash page (home page), popup windows, and content of the online publication can be dynamically updated by the owners of the site using simple forms. On the splash page, all colors used in articles for headlines and fonts are set by the site owners. The owners can update text of articles at any time. Photos shown in front page articles and throughout the site can be easily changed by the owners.
The owners have total control over a popup window management system that lets them create or edit popups, choose which popup you will see when you arrive at the site, and choose how often a popup will be shown (whether every time you visit the site, or every other time you visit the site, or however often they choose.)
The Resource and the Success Story displayed on the splash page are chosen randomly from the resource and success story archives each time you return to the splash page.
Notice near the bottom of the splash page that a list of recent forum articles is dynamically created, along with the author's names. Clicking on an author's name opens a popup window which show's the author's contact information, which is pulled from the member's database.
You can use the side menu to visit areas of the site. Try "Planning Tools" which is an online version of what was originally a hard-cover publication. The site administrator can use forms to dynamically re-order chapters or pages, and can add, edit or delete chapters and pages, as well as upload photos and data files for users to view and download. Any added chapters are automatically added to the side menu.
